Title of book: Jenny's Choice
Author: Margaret Adams
ReviewThis story reminded me of the stories I read in my magazine. I enjoyed reading it together with the rest of the group because we stopped at the end of each chapter and talked about what had happened and tried to guess what was going to happen next. None of us guessed about Greg!

Title of book: Jenny's Choice

ReviewThis was a good story and quite shocking. Jenny had a bad time when she was a child and then bad luck with Greg. I felt quite sorry for her but she seemed to have a strong personality. It was a good level book for me to read because it had some new words.

ReviewThis was a good story and I’m glad we read all of it. We were going to read half in the library and then finish it at home but I wanted to finish it and find out what was going to happen. I would like to read the other stories in this series.

ReviewI liked this story because it had some new words in it but I was able to follow what was happening. I felt sorry for Jenny when she found out about Greg. I had a feeling something wasn't quite right.

ReviewI liked the story. I thought it was good when Jenny eventually spoke to her friend. The story finished with a cliff-hanger so now I want to know what will happen next!

Title of book: Dan's Dinner
Author: Margaret Adams
Review: I thought the book was a really good one to read. It’s about a supermarket employee called Dan who has had bad things happen to him in the past. He starts to talk with someone who turns out to have a big surprise for him. I would recommend it to people to read as it makes you realise how lucky you really are in this world.

Secrets made me cry. It is such a brilliant book. It will change lives, because it shows what it feels like if you can't read, and best of all, it shows us all that we can learn to read.
